Ramon Tarragó
Ramon Tarrago has served as senior financial advisor to the Minister of Economics, Planning and Development of the Dominican Republic for a number of years. He has participated in major transactions, which include restructuring of Paris Club bilateral debt, London Club and other private sovereign debts. Total treated amounts surpassed US$2,000 million and achieved over 97% of creditors’ participation. The London Club restructuring was awarded Deal of the Year of 2005 by Finance/Euromoney Magazine.
Mr. Tarrago’s experience in telecommunications dates back to his tenure of over 13 years serving as Chief Financial Officer and International Vicepresident for TRICOM, a leading telecommunications company in the Dominican Republic.
Concurrently Mr. Tarrago has been acting as a member of the Consejo Nacional de Valores (Dominican Securities Exchange Commission) since 2002.
Mr. Tarrago holds a degree in Economics from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña (UNPHU); a Master in Business Administration from Virginia Tech and attended the Executive Education Program, Senior Managers in Government from The Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University. |
